I wrote and directed this feature. EMI wanted to showcase Immodesty Blaize and her Tease Show. My job was to shape the whole film. I decided to place the performances at the heart and weaved the documentary elements around them.
So the extraordinary interviewees, the history and archive sections, my chats with Immodesty while she was getting ready, these sequences and more all served to give a fresh insight into this art form and help audiences appreciate the performances more.
